Welcome to our humble group :)
It´s new, so you´ll have to excuse me for some start/up issues.

Who are we?
Clay for Beginners is a group that is - as the title says - mainly aimed at beginners or people who are still trying to improve their work. But - that being said - you can also become a member if you're experienced in the art of clay, since we could always use the expertise, examples and critiques. That way we can all improve and show our art in an honest and safe environment :)
I'm not really aiming to become a huge group. I'm aiming for about 200 - 300 members, with a steady amount of submission and lots of critique and comments. I think that works best.

How about submissions?
All right, we've gotten a little bigger of the time so here are a few rules:
:bulletred: No more than 8 submission a day
:bulletred: Just one submission per piece. So do not submit 8 photo's of the same piece but from different angles.
:bulletred: Submissions put in the wrong folder will be declined

I want to Affiliate!
Well, by all means do! Just let me/the group know or click the affiliate button and there you go! :)

Do you have other plans for this group?
Well, indeed I do. I'm going to add handy things to know when working with clay to the blog. So this way you'll get very useful information every once and a while in your inbox. Got any information you'd like to share? Let me know :)

Edit: Basics about Polymer Clay:
Information about (making) canes:

I have a suggestion/complaint
Think we have to many submissions, got any ideas or just want to give your piece of mind? Anything you have to tell us is appreciated :) Just note the group and we'll have a look!

Hi, I have a few questions and not sure if anyone can help me. So here goes: I want to ship a charm thru usps and want to know what kind of packaging should I use so the charm doesn't get damaged and what would be the cheapest way? Thanks so much in advance!

I love the concept of sculpting, and seeing as buying a hammer, chizzle, or whatever sculpting tools are- are pretty expensive, I was wondering if clay modeling is also expensive?

This is a very old question you posted almost a year ago and I, a random wandering stranger, just saw it. Clay sculpting can be expensive, if you opt to buy all the latest tools and textures out there, that is. But you can improvise with tools anyway--toothpicks and suck work perfectly fine. :3
